XHP Gearbox Software Flashed in-house, we offer Stage 1, Stage 2 and Stage 3, however always advise and Flash the Stage 3 software.


The Stage 1 files focus on economy and comfort, by upshifting early in D-Mode and locking up the torque converter sooner, compared to the factory calibrations. MPG gain to be expected (depending on vehicle and driving environment) between 5% and 15%.

Stage 1 files are made to enhance mileage and comfort. Shift points are adapted to make optimal use of your engine's torque and keep revs low and steady all the time. Gearbox Torque Limiters are removed to open the way for proper operation when paired with tuned engines.



Stage 2 files focus on the sporty aspects, without compromising comfort. Shift points and Clutch-Pressures are adapted to speed up shifting and reduce reaction times.

The Stage 2 files are for people wanting faster shifts and more responsive driving experience, but not want to sacrifice any comfort.

Stage 3 Maps are made for everyone having fun driving fast and going to race-tracks. While the standard D-Mode mostly retains factory smoothness the Sport and Manual modes are optimized for the fastest shifts possible. Eventually features like Launch Control and “True Manual Mode” are added.

The Stage 3 files are our most sporty calibrations, changing the driving experience totally. While all Stage 3 files retain full comfort and can be used in every daily car, the behaviour changes when switching to S or M. Massively reduced shift times and throttle blips in manual mode show what your auto transmission is capable of. On top of  Stage 2 features include;

  • Torque limits raised to maximum
  • Approx. 25% faster shifts in D mode
  • Approx. 50% faster shifts in S and M mode
  • rev-matched downshifting (Throttle-Blip)
  • True Manual Mode (no forced upshift at RPM limiter)
